About Lifestyle Educator, Rachel Couch

Rachel Couch, L.E.

Rachel chose to make health her primary focus after transitioning from her position as Principal of Renaissance High School in Chula Vista in 2007. During her ten years in education, she observed the impact nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices had on an individual’s mental, emotional and physical self expression. Even in her own life, Rachel has continued to learn that getting the proper nutrition, adequate sleep, and incorporating practices that manage stress can make all the difference in facing her day in a state of grace rather than chaos. She considers primary foods to be a person’s faith, family, and sense of fulfillment. These become the foundation for health. When those aspects of life are in place, people are more likely to make healthful choices. Next, nutrition and confidence in handling stress allow a person to experience radiant health and vitality, casting that individual in a more favorable light to prevent disease. For the past three years, Rachel has had the honor of serving as Lifestyle Educator (L.E.) with an emphasis in nutrition in partnership with the team at Dr. Gisi’s Integrative Medicine Clinic. On a weekly basis she has the opportunity to facilitate health and peace of mind. Rachel works with her clients to create individual plans that overcome obstacles and help people achieve their health goals. She sees miracles happen nearly every day. Consultations are available Tuesdays and Thursdays at the clinic. Call the appointment desk to schedule your session. In addition to private sessions, bi-monthly nutritional education classes are offered in the evenings at the office.
